So there's one guy who has built a few of these boxer engines (like a bmw motorcycle), and now another guy has made the midcarter pieces with cnc, and has sold them on our forum.
Im one of the lucky buyers, so hopefully ill be able to try my own twin engine soon.

It's really amazing! A little advice: put the cap on the cilinder... I have a question : which exaust did you use?
Congratulation, It's a real wonder of tecnology and intelligence.
Ps sorry but my english isn't really good...
Bye bye
Amazing! Probably has a good torque... Have you performance information? Could you assemble another engine and sell it?
I deeply admire the work done, apologize me for my bad english.

Let me introduce myself, I am the Inventor of the twinboxer vespa engine, thank you for all your positive response.
I built the first twinboxer engine in 1991-1992 since there was no internet it was easy to keep secret
It used 2x 46mm cylinders and 2x 13mm carburetors it was built into the gray bravo see photos, which had a topspeed very close to 120 km/h.
The project had been long forgotten until I decided last year (2011) to rebuilt the engine.
This is the "first run" video of the rebuilt twinboxer engine:
The current twinboxer engine uses 2x 43mm Autisa cylinders and is somewhat slower.
Therefore I am now working on an improved version using 2x Pinasco 46mm with Liquid cooled heads.
The original design is such that it is actually very simple to build, it uses just ONE non-common part (the midcarter). You may want to try yourself.

where on earth did that come from.
brilliant work for sure, well done.
performance wise 120kph is excellent and very promising.
curious on how much it would cost to purchase the twin engine though.
certainly with x2 pinasco 46mm will be excellent.
cheers
Giuseppe
Giuseppe, i paid 65 euro's for the midcarter, which i think is a bargain. Now i need 2 crankshafst(alberi) pressed together and welded and im good to go, so total cost of special parts no more than 100 euro??
Twinboxer made his midcarter by himself, so he spent even less on the parts( cylinders excluded).
I might use a LC 41mm polini in the back and an aircooled one in the front, or just 2 standard piaggio kits. It wouldn't be the fastest, but a high torque 100cc engine.
certainly seems very tempting and cost effective too.
i think maybe a few people would be interested here too, myself included.
i must admit you guys in holland are very innovative, well done.
thanks for the info.
regards
Giuseppe
