( APE ) Shock absorver

Hi again,
how can i check if shock absorbers, rear and front, are working good?
if only with the force of hands / arms, I can compress and stretch the shock, this means they are spoiled / not working?
I'm going to cut spring, so does it worth changing even if they are not working properly??

original shock absorbers are not so important on APE just set the right number of rounds of the springs

yes, the spring issue is done!

i'm asking about the shock, because i always feel the suspension to hard. like a racing F1 doing offroad
could be from the shock or even from the spring...

already broken 2 of the supports from the dashboard on these spectacular roads

ape suspension are hard, and you cann't do anything to improve them... the more you cut springs, the more supsensions will become harder

it's the negative side of "cutting springs"

I'm in the same situation... No more money for my ape ahah :)
