( APE ) Rear brake drum problems

Hi, today i took out my rear brake pads and replace them by new ones.

The problem is, i can't fit the drum cover....

already took out it 2 or 3 times and try to assembly it again, and it just don't go in
i even sand the pad, to see if would go better, but nothing...

It should go in freely, correct??

The box, says ape 50 but they are RMS. Or i'm doing something wrong or they came with same kind of problem....

I'll assembly old ones to see and take that doubt!!
until there, any suggestion????

try both way, loch and unlock...

one other thing i didn't said, when i'm placing the drum to slide in trough the shaft, it doesn't go straight. it seems just like one of the pads is out of is course and forcing the drum to go sideways , and its the reason why i sand the pads. still nothing...

i follow all the instructions from theblackfamily and uncli-ide...

i'm begin to enter in a desperate state of mind......

i start to thing i have no idea in what getting withthis beautiful thing call APE

pistons are in, as the pads are forcing them like it should be, i guess....

this afternoon i will install old ones to see, the difference.

yap, with old ones it goes straight in freely...

solution: buy other set

so strange...notice no differnce between the old and the new pads? also like pins diameter? or where works the piston?

the difference i first notice, was the hole where the upper spring fits, did not have the correct spacing and had to open it with a drill.
After that, i sand the pad it self and more the outer border to see if would fit better. Nothing...

They only fit, if i use a hammer to force them to go in, but after the drum will not spin/rotate. I try it, put engine to work, engage 1st and 2nd gear, didn't move....

Had to hammer it again to take it out

so, i order new and original brake pads and everything works fine now
i left my opinion at SIP, they apologize but cannot return these RMS, as i did few changes on them

so rms sell these pads like original spare parts? but the pads doesn't fit? look so strange

yes, it seems that way. if i put them side by side, they are slightly different in size and on the holes where the up spring goes in.
don't know if only this series or if the problem is normal on rms products.
